Oh My God! What a
book. This book is such a
well-written
retelling of a classic tale. But it has a
twist. There is not one but two
beast, so to speak.
Of course this is
Belle's story. But this one starts
with Belle being asked to marry. Only the
worst
happens and she loses her love and the townsfolk
shun her. That is all
but one. The captain they all
call the animal. When he helps save her from
certain death she is not sure what to think. Could
everyone have it wrong? But
soon Belle has to
go save her father but in doing so she is held
captive by a
beast. Living with him she learns to
love him, but he will he return her love?
Or only
that of the prince that invades her dreams. What
is she to do as she
loves them and she is not
sure if they love her in return? I loved how this all
worked out but you will
have to read it to find out.
