••••••••Review of Reveal By Brina Courtney ••••••••

                                                             Review

I was given the opportunity to read Reveal, and so glad I did. I love the paranormal books! This one was quite different from the norm. It had shape shifters but not the normal wolf kind. They shifted into normal house cats, and could talk to ghosts. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and I plan to get the other books in the series. I just have to know how it all ends.
Then there the surprise at the end, the one thing Shay has been hoping for happens. But not to spoil the book you'll have to read to find out.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

                                                             Book Description

Shay could be the key to ending a war that humans don't know exist. Of a race of beings that aren't real, or are they?
Shay Tafford's childhood has been fatherless, filled instead with memories of speaking to the dead. She is forced to hide her unique ability from those living around her. That's why it's been comforting to have Jeremy, a child ghost, as her confidante. But recently he's been absent, perhaps lost as her father is. When Shay meets Hugh, the guy she's had a crush on for weeks, and finds he can speak to ghosts too she's just starting to find a normalcy in her life.
But as Hugh reveals the truth to Shay, about who she really is and about what it is she can do, he erases all chances she had at a normal existence. Turns out talking to ghosts is just scratching the surface of her genetically engineered gifts. Shay learns she may be part of an age old prophecy that could save the entire race of cryptids. But can she?

HOME IS WHERE YOU ARE BY TESSA MARIE

Review:
You know I read all kinda of books, and I know a hit when I see one.
And home is where you are sends a great message. Never judge someone by how they look. And
sometimes life surprises you and love finds you when  you least expect it. Tessa Marie sure has a book
every young adult should read. It's entertaining and tells how it really is out there. I love that our
heroine and her guy find their happily ever after, but showed that sometimes you have to work hard
to get itI I plan on recommending this book to everyone I can and the school where My son attended.
It needs to be added to the curriculum.

Anna’s life reads like a check list.
Straight A’s (Check)
Editor of the school paper (Check)
Volunteering time at the local soup kitchen (Check)
Ivy League (So close she can taste it)
Falling in love with a homeless boy (Not on the list)

Dean has a plan too. Survive. After being subjected to his foster father’s violent attacks, Dean made the
hard choice to leave. Now he lives on the streets doing everything he can to get by, refusing to let
people help him. But when he meets Anna, he realizes not everyone is out to hurt him.

Slowly, Anna and Dean let each other in, blending their two worlds into one. But when a series of
events brings Dean’s world into perspective, he pushes Anna away. Not willing to accept the line that
divides them, Anna sets out to bring Dean back to her. Her determination and faith in their future puts
her on the tracks of danger, and he is the only one who can save her.
